PETALING JAYA: Malaysian top golfer Gavin Kyle Green continued to make his presence felt on European Tour when he came in joint 12th at the Qatar Masters.
The 26-year-old carded a superb six-under 65 to finish on nine-under 275 at the Education Golf Club in Doha on Sunday (Mar 8).
Gavin, who registered 70,69 and 71 in the first three rounds, bettered his last year’s finish of tied 31st.
He pocketed €24,024 (RM114,000) for his effort.
The Qatar meet was won by Jorge Campillo of Spain after prevailing in a five-hole playoff against David Drysdale of Scotland.
Gavin has now made the cut in all his first six starts of the season, finishing no worse than a 27th placing.
